I've been the student ministries pastor at AZ Hills for 3 years now and I'm lovin' it! Our student ministry is taking on a more mission/service mind set and I believe this trip to Latvia is the first big mission to get us going! I am very excited about the trip and to see what God is going to do through our students while we're there. I believe God calls us to go beyond our borders on mission for Him. Both globally and personally. That's what this team will be doing and I hope and pray you will come along side of us in prayer and encouragement.

wow, you guys are leaving today! i almost feel as though i am going with you through prayers. i know that God is using ALL of you as i write this, and will use you during these next 3 weeks. its sad for all of you guys to leave because az hills y.g will not be the same for 3 very long weeks, but when you guys return it will be even better than before! i have butterflies in my stomach just thinking of this afternoon. wow, you guys have a wonderful time. i love all of you guys. <3

We have made it to Latvia no problems. We don't have complete internet access so itš hard to call you on skype, and I am still trying to figure out my phone card. I will try to call you tomorrow on skype somewhere between 12pm - 4pm. I love you and hope you are doing fine. I am doing fine too except for missing you like crazy. Love you and talk to you soon. It was great to talk to you last night and hear that you and baby boy are doing good. I miss you both lots!!!!!! I can't to wrestle with him when I get home and have tickle wars.
We are into our second day of camp and all is well so far. God is really working in the hearts of our AZ students and in mine. And because of that, amazing things are happening. I can't wait to tell you all about them.
I love you so much and you are always on my heart and mind. I am praying for you and Connor Jay. I will talk to you soon!

Hey man! I did get your email and just didn't get a chance yet to write back to you. It was good to hear that you are doing good. I know a lot of people in Anthem miss you including our family. I will write to you when I get home. Until then keep the faith!

Jon, We are praying for you and your team daily, for God's wonderful work. His love for His people is so amazing. We are so encouraged by reading the updates on the website. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord and for being willing to take these kids on this mission trip. We spoke to Hailey again yesterday and she is loving being over in Latvia and really bonding with everyone there. How great is our God!!

I want to thank you for the encouragement. I couldn't be prouder of your kids. They all have amazing hearts for God. My prayer for them is that they choose to serve God with their whole lives like they have on this trip. They have changed me in ways I never thought they would. Their boldness for the gospel makes me awestruck. Thank you for letting them go with us. God has done great through you all as parents!

sunday went great! adam probably already told you that, but it was very good. we all missed you guys! there was only like 4 kids in highschool service!hehehe. but, yep, nathan was very good and it all went smoothly! next sunday is going to be great too!!
