Emily (click comments)

I am so excited for the Latvia mission trip. I loved doing the missions trips in Mexico and I think that with God's help, our team will be ready for this new challenge!

Aside from having tons of fun with AZ Hills youth group, I love to take on challenging new experiences, especially if it is a sport.

Please pray for us, and if you want, leave us a comment. We would love it! :)

Yeah! I found emily's pillow! I will deliver it tomorrow when Lisa and I and the 7, yes 7 kids leave Riga to join the team. Poor Em first she lost her luggage and then she has been without a pillow for days and then she almost lost it when she saw the Communion Cup coming around that all in the church would share (the eggs they had for breakfast weren't sitting to well) God has big plans for her next year after this experience!

Emily,
I heard from your dad that you were on a mission.
You are lucky to have the love and support of your family.

I want to give you my unsolicited advice on travel.
There are two ways to travel.
One is to watch people and interact with them knowing that you will soon
be back home and back to your way of life.
The other way is to jump into the culture of the people you are visiting
and to experience life as they live it.
Either way, I want to wish you the best.

Uncle Eddie

Emily!!

I miss you SOOO much, but it sounds like you are having fun in Lativa! I'm actually seeing Jen everyday because we are doing driver's ed together. All we talk about though is how much of an idiot the teacher is. Haha. Michigan was fun AND I got you a souvenir. You just have to come home to get it! I'm praying for you every night, and tomorrow I will force Jen to get on and leave you a message too (not that she doesn't want to of course, but you know how lazy she can get). Ashley's in Californa right now, and Jen is leaving for there on July 23. Jen's not getting back from Californa until August 7th! Gasp! So I'm pushing back my birthday a little. But that's okay, it can be a we're going back to school party too! I'm quite a thinker! I'm sorry that this note was a little out of order and crazy, but I just have so much to tell you! I guess most will have to wait until you get home. Have you heard about those bombings in London? I've decided it isn't safe for you to go there and you should come home as soon as possible. Of course I'm mostly joking, but a little not. I'm so lost without you to talk to! You are the peanut butter to my jelly!

God bless and LOTS of love!

Kalyn

Emily!

So Kalyn finally made me post a comment (I mean, I wanted to, but I'm lazy and I forgot the address.) I'm sooo excited for you, out there, actually reaching out and helping people. I wish I could have gone with you. You'll have to tell me everything that happened when you get back. I'll be in California (for two weeks!) but you can call me on my cell. I hope you're having a great time even without a shower every day. Kal and I are, personally, having a blast in driver's ed. Today we learned how to turn... see? REAL exciting. I miss you! You're the only one that ever calls and forces us to leave our houses and get together. I wouldn't have any human contact if not for driver's ed. Well, anywho, have fun, stay safe, don't do anything I wouldn't do. I'm praying for you guys!

-Your soon to be licensed friend!

Hey David, just wondering how you are feeling about London we are going to make some calls today? Today we went to the beach and Emily got a rash, so far if something is going to happen it happens to her, with the exception of injuries so far we have had two broken toes, one finger and a bad sprain, that includes the interns.

David,
we just called our hotel and they say right now that area is closed but they think it will be ok when we come I was just wondering if you would mind calling the tour company about our tour, you can contact Melanie and get the numbers and you can update us on the blog. Thanks

Emily,

I am so excited for all that you are experiencing , yet I knew inside That God would Do some awsome things.

Your Cell phone should be working for international calls later today or tomorrow. you should get a message from Sprint when it's working. It's .18 cents a minute so no 3 hour calls, but you can call your friends here and say Hi.

I love you,
Dad

Hi Em,

I need to know if you want me to bring anything with me for you. You have to e-mail me with a list or call me by Tuesday night. Try using your phone, it is suppose to work internationally, but it may not have started yet. I can't wait to see you on Friday. Love,
Dad

Em,

I'm sorry for the missinformation that I gave you, I just discovered that Sprint doesn't work there. The local sprint Customer service said it would, but the international rep said it doesn't.
You will have to e-mail me or call me. We are leaving here in 22 hours.

Love, Dad

EmEm,

I drove on the freeway!!! ANNNNNDDDD I am almost the owner of a souped up Ford Explorer ... yup a TRUCK!!! I am rather excited if you hadn't noticed. I've had to talk to other people lately and Emily it just isn't the same as talking to you. Oh guess what I get to do for the first time on August 5th? ... No guesses? Okay I get to leave the country and go to Mexico. Ha! Finally I will be the one leaving You. Revenge is sweet! Granted it is only three days, so it really won't bring you as much pain as your thousand day absence has brought me. Not to send you on a guilt trip because you really are doing amazing things there in Lativa. Okay, I have to go hang out with my family ... see how desperate I am without you??? Just kidding. I can't wait to talk to you again.

You are the PEANUT BUTTER to my JELLY!!

Tons of love and prayers!

Kalyn

P.S. Nobody has called me KalKal in forever. :(
